    Tim Lien is the Head Pastor of Riverwood Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

    Tim was born in Texas and grew up in Southern California in Orange County. He attended Bryan College in Tennessee and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. Tim moved to West Alabama for the first time as an intern for First Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Aliceville, Alabama, under the ministry of Dr. Thomas G. Kay, Jr.

    In 2000 he attended Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He was ordained in June of 2004 as Assistant Pastor of Riverwood. He became the Head Pastor in 2006.

    Tim is married to Melissa and they have three children: Laurian Kate, Anderson Martin, and Lainey Knox. Tim enjoys reading just about anything that makes sense, reliving second-string glory days, appreciating good graphic design, jamming to indie-folk, dabbling in computer construction, and entertaining delusions of one day owning a micro-brewery.
