Richard L. Burguet
Richard Lamar Burguet is the Senior Pastor of New Hope Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Eustis, Florida, and is Co-Director of Doulos Resources.
Richard grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, attending Mississippi State University and Belhaven College, graduating from Belhaven in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Christian Education. After college, Richard attended Reformed Theological Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity in 1982.
Upon graduating, Richard served Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville, South Carolina as an Associate Pastor. Following that, Richard served as Senior Pastor of Thomson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Centreville, Mississippi; Church Planter of Golden Isles Presbyterian Church of St. Simons Island, Georgia; Revitalization Pastor of Southeast Presbyterian Church of Columbia, South Carolina; Associate Pastor of Rose Hill Presbyterian Church of Columbia, South Carolina; and Senior Pastor of Loch Raven Presbyterian Church of Baltimore, Maryland.
Richard and his wife Anne have four children: Iain (married to Katie), Elizabeth Owen (married to John), Suzanna Stenbeck (married to Johnathan), and Mary Claire. They also have one granddaughter, Mackenzie.
Richard is an avid outdoorsman, particularly enjoying deer, duck, and turkey hunting as well as fishing.
